Purton Cricket Club Exhibtion Currently on Display Now
Date for Museum re opening: To be Advised
'Although the Museum is temporarily closed due to COVID19, the Purton Cricket Club Bicentenary Exhibition will remain in place ready to view when the museum re-opens.  After reopening, ample time will be allocated for this important new exhibition to be viewed'.
 
The Cricket Club bicentenary exhibition will be opened on 28/03/2020 at 10am by
Mr. Malcolm Morrison, a consultant at The Great Western Hospital, who played cricket for Purton during the 1960's.

Purton Museum is proud to present our ambitious exhibition dedicated to commemorating Purton in World War 1.

We would like to thank everyone who has reached out and lent us personal artefacts so we could make this exhibition possible.

We have a mixture of Wiltshire at War information boards throughout the duration of the

exhibition and have been involved in a Wiltshire Armistice project which has granted us the gift of a tablet, giving this project an interactive...
